Hi all! With the release date for Strongest Gamer: Let’s Play in Another World Volume 1 fast approaching, we thought we’d do away with our normal project updates and instead bring you some comments directly from the team!
I hope you enjoy this, and we’ll be bringing you a similar post for Battle Divas next month. Without further ado, I’ll pass you on to the team!
Nice to meet you all, I’m Bango. I had the pleasure to work as the translator for Gamer.
It actually was my first light novel translation ever, so I want to see a lot of comments about it! My editor wasn’t as much as a greenhorn as me, thank goodness!
I’m sure everyone will find something they’re able to enjoy in this novel. I’m very happy with Gamer being my first light novel project, it was pretty fun to read and translate, I hope I could convey that in my translation.
As always, take care and see you later, Toodles~
Phew, it’s finally done! Working on Strongest Gamer has been a lot of fun, and we even learned some things along the way. Admittedly, I went into it with a few preconceived expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by what it turned out to be. Yuki Shinobu took a lot of care in crafting a story that can lead to an infinite amount of possibilities, and we’re just getting started!
Hello all, haerts here! It’s kind of amazing to think that the first light novel I ever worked on will be available to you all very soon! I’m really thankful to have had the opportunity to work on this title as QA/QC. As someone who loves kemonomimi characters… this title was a perfect fit for me. I really appreciate everyone who takes the time and reads these updates/blog posts, so thank you all! I hope you all will look forward to reading Strongest Gamer!
It was my first time proofreading a light novel, and I enjoyed every single moment of it. Ann is so endearing and cute! I hope you all come to like her as much as I did. It was an amazing opportunity to work on this, so I hope you all enjoy Strongest Gamer!
